Pearl Pirie is the author of the pet radish, shrunken (BookThug, 2015), her third full collection. She is president of KaDo, an Ottawa-area group for haiku, runs phafours press and Studio Nouveau workshops. A host of Literary Landscape on CKCUfm.com, she has been a food columnist at Planet of the Scapes for the Centretown Buzz since 2015. She gives workshops and talks on poetry for various organizations.

Frances Boyle is the author of Light-carved Passages (BushchekBooks, 2014), and a chapbook, Portal Stones.  Her writing has appeared in Grain, The Fiddlehead, Room, The New Quarterly, Vallum, Prairie Fire, CV2, Ottawater, Canthius and elsewhere,  including anthologies on subjects ranging from Hitchcock to mother/daughter relationships. Her awards include Tree Press's chapbook prize, This Magazine's Great Canadian Literary Hunt, and the Diana Brebner Prize.  She serves on Arc Poetry Magazine's editorial board.  Originally from the prairies, Frances arrived in Ottawa via the west coast, and now happily calls this city home.

Marilyn Irwin is a graduate of Algonquin College’s Creative Writing program, winner of the 2013 Diana Brebner Prize, and a 2014 Hot Ottawa Voice. Her work has been published by above/ground press, Arc Poetry Magazine, Bywords, In/Words, New American Writing, Matrix Magazine and others. Her seventh and most recent chapbook, waving usufruct, a poetry/photography collaboration with David Emery and Samantha Lapierre, was published by The Steel Chisel in 2016. She runs shreeking violet press in Ottawa.
