Brenda Leifso's most recent book, Barren the Fury, came out with Pedlar Press in  2015. A previous book, Daughters of Men, was published by Brick Books in 2008. Her  poetry has appeared in journals and anthologies across the country

Ruth Roach Pierson taught women's history, feminist and post-colonial studies at OISE/UT from 1980 to 2001, and European and women's history at MUN from 1970 to 1980.  Since retiring she has published four poetry collections: Where No Window Was (BuschekBooks, 2002), Aide-Mémoire (BuschekBooks, 2007), finalist in 2008 for the GG in Poetry, CONTRARY (Tightrope Books, 2011), and REALIGNMENT (Palimpsest Press, 2015).  In spring 2014 Guernica Editions published the anthology of film poems she edited entitled I Found It at the Movies. Aperture, her chapbook of poems written in response to the work of Czech photographer Josef Sudek, was launched by Rufus Books in July 2014.  She is currently editing poetry manuscripts for Tightrope Books
